Andrea Fong

Registered Provisional Psychologist - Friday, Saturday & Sunday

I'm a Provisional Psychologist and I'm actively seeking new clients. I have previously navigated personal challenges with anxiety and self-esteem issues. These experiences have shaped my therapeutic approach, emphasizing compassion and a safe space. I want to ensure that you feel heard and have a place to explore your thoughts and ideas without judgement. I am eager to join you on a journey to discover what works best for you and how you can strive to live your life the way you want!
I am directly supervised by Dr. Terilyn Pott and am specializing in chronic pain treatment.

Training

I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. My previous experiences include working with children, adolescents, and adults facing diverse circumstances (e.g., school-related, family-related) and diagnoses (e.g., depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, trauma, motivation, crisis). My primary focus is on adolescents (14+) and adults, adopting a strengths-based, person-centered approach while incorporating other modalities depending on needs, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Now trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma and Emotion Focused Therapy for Individuals and Couples.
