Registered Provisional Psychologist - Thursday day and evening availability

My approach to counselling is through collaboratively working with you towards your goals and finding what creates meaning and purpose within your life. I utilize a person- centered and solution-focused approach, aiming to create a profound understanding and acknowledgment of your experiences with compassion, empathy and non-judgement. I custom tailor a diverse set of methods for each unique person’s needs within therapy.

Training

I have a Masters in Counselling and have a great deal of experience in both domestic violence and trauma through my work with the YWCA and other organizations within Edmonton. Other areas of focus include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship concerns and self-esteem. I am trained in the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and many other therapeutic approaches. I have experience also working with the LGBTQ2SlA+ community and have an interest in working with men’s mental health issues.
